Having the honor of being the official state bird, the American Robin lives up to its ubiquitous billing, while singing endlessly throughout the springtime. These birds are virtually everywhere: parks, forests, subdivisions, parking lots,etc. Nevertheless, they always seem to fascinate me. I am not sure if its their penchant for mealworms or the peculiar rear positioning of their eyes.
